This month we are discussing the Ellery Queen murder book, The American Gun Mystery.  The Wild West Rodeo comes to Manhattan, and in front of 20,000 spectators, Old Time Cowboy legend Buck Horne is shot dead during the show - then trampled by dozens of horses.  Whodunit?  Among the spectators is the erudite detective Ellery Queen.  He delves into the surreal world of this midtown rodeo to solve this impossible murder.

Mystery Book Group

Come in, get cozy and enjoy a group discussion of books of mystery and suspense by famous and lesser known authors from the Golden Age of Mysteries.  Meetings will be held every other month, usually on the 4th Wednesday of that month. We have been holding Hybrid meetings; you can join in-person or via zoom

Special book group copies are also set aside roughly one month before the discussion and can be requested on a first come, first serve basis by emailing circ@fallschurchva.gov.
